Career Exploration begins in grade 7. During the SRT careers unit, students will explore careers through an interest assessment, guest speakers and classroom instruction.

In grade 8, students will begin their electronic Educational Development Plan (EDP). An Educational Development Plan (EDP) is a written document in which students indentify a career pathway, assess their interests and skills, document their experiences, develop short and long term goals, determine the education and or training needed to meet their career goals, and create a high school class schedule tied to their career pathway.
